For more than two decades, Lyric Wines has crafted approachable, coastal-influenced Pinot Noir that captures the character of California’s most celebrated cool-climate vineyards. Sourced from premier growing regions along the Pacific Coast, Lyric embraces a style that is bright, expressive, and effortlessly drinkable—wines designed for everyday moments as much as special occasions.

When we partnered with Lyric, the challenge was not to document an existing world, but to create one. We developed a visual narrative that embodied the wine’s coastal origins and easygoing personality—an atmosphere shaped by ocean air, soft natural light, and the quiet rhythms of life along California’s shoreline.

The studio photography explored a tactile coastal palette inspired by weathered wood, stone, sand, driftwood, and moss. Product imagery was paired with intimate moments of solitude—reading beside a glass of wine, handwritten notes on a typewriter, candlelit evenings, and thoughtful pauses that reflected the contemplative nature of the brand. The resulting imagery created a sense of place that felt both elevated and deeply personal.

Building on that foundation, the lifestyle campaign brought Lyric into the lives of its drinkers. Through photography and video, we captured friends gathering for coastal picnics, sharing meals outdoors, and spending unhurried afternoons together by the ocean. Sunlit backyard dinners, windswept beaches, and meaningful moments with loved ones reinforced the idea that Lyric is more than a bottle of wine—it is a companion to connection, conversation, and simple pleasures.

The final body of work established a visual identity rooted in coastal California living: relaxed yet refined, nostalgic yet contemporary, and centered around the beauty of slowing down and savoring the moment.
